Reich, Steve

Reich, Steve
(b. 1936)
   American composer, conductor and percussionist. He was born in New York, and lived in San Francisco, where he wrote music for the San Francisco Mime Troupe and presented concerts at the San Francisco Tape Music Centre. His compositions include Tehilim, based on pseudo-biblical cantillation.
